Darjeeling teaház is a unique place to enjoy a nice evening with a rich variety of tea and coffee in a cosy and quite place although middle of chaotic downtown. In fact it is the first Indian teahouse in Budapest. Its convenient location near to downtown, with a nice environment and warm hospitality will make you visit again and again. It is ideal for an official get together of large group(15-20 people), couples, friends.This establishment has been a tea-house since many years and we decided to renovate it after buying it from the previous owner. The idea of opening a teahouse came suddenly, and to materialize it we worked very hard, day and night on every aspects, starting from a complete renovation, painting the walls, furnishing, rearrangement of the accessories, adding up new varieties and choices like tea and coffee cocktail, Italian ice-cream, coffee beans, cakes, pastries and cookies.

It has a big variety of tea and coffee from renowned vendors who directly import from across the world.
The interior decorations are done keeping in mind the ambience of ancient tea house with all cane furniture for seating and Persian carpets to seat on the floor. Theme lighting is red with soft tone, that brings a great feelings while sipping the tea and long hour gossiping.
The coffee corner has smoking facility and you can choose your own coffee beans to be grinded and made right in front of you.
You can enjoy internet with the free Wi-Fi facility.
You can have nice cakes, pastries and ice-creams.
We are open every day from 10am to 12pm (SUNDAYs 5 pm)
